Jack M. has been a math tutor for 10 years and an SAT/ACT tutor for six. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics/Secondary Education and is Certified in Secondary Mathematics in the state of Pennsylvania. Jack teaches secondary mathematics at a high school on the Main Line.
Maureen M. provides individualized academic support to elementary and middle school students with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Emotional Disturbances. As an experienced Special Education teacher and tutor, Maureen designs curriculum and uses positive behavioral support techniques and strategies that achieve IEP goals.
Teaching 11th grade biology and science at a leading private school, Beta E. enjoys exposing students to new ideas. She serves as adviser to 9th grade students and assists them in making the transition to upper school. Beta has also developed lessons, laboratory exercises, and STEM-based approaches to teaching Environmental Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science to students in grades 7 to 12.
Bill S. has been tutoring for the SAT and ACT English, Reading and Writing tests since 2006. Prior to that, he was communications director for a national company with over $600 million in annual sales. In addition to helping students score higher on their college entrance exams, Bill enjoys helping plan and edit college application essays.
Guille has a Bachelors of Science in Physiology from UCLA and is currently pursuing a Medical Degree at Temple University. She has been tutoring for eight years, mostly in math and science, and enjoys working with a diverse student population. Guille is also experienced in teaching SAT and ACT content and test-taking strategies.
Andrew L. has a bachelor of science degree in biology and is pursuing a Master's in Education. He has been tutoring for Key Academics for four years. Andrew scored in the top 3% nationally on official SAT math and biology tests, demonstrating his command of both subjects.
