Award Winning One-To-One SAT Tutoring
Every child is unique, so Key Academics works one-to-one with students and customizes our proven curriculum to meet their specific needs. We are dedicated the success of each student. This commitment has resulted in our tutoring being selected as Best of Montgomery County for 2015 and Readers' Choice Award winner at philly.com for 2016.
Key Academics' elite tutors motivate students and build confidence. We are extremely selective and accept only 5% of the individuals who wish to tutor for our company. Along with ongoing training, they use a proven, research-driven curriculum, in your home or other convenient location. All tutors must also undergo rigorous screening including criminal background checks and obtain child abuse clearances.
The standard SAT program includes computer scored diagnostic and practice tests, curriculum materials, and 19.5 hours of tutoring. Some students prefer additional sessions while others need fewer, so we work with families to create a schedule that is appropriate for each student.
Our course materials blend core academic skill-building, proven test prep strategy, and additional examples assigned for homework. This professionally developed curriculum has helped thousands of students. Each student also has a private online work space where tutors write notes following each session, including the material that was covered as well as homework assignments. These notes are emailed to the student and his or her parents.
"I had a really great experience with Key Academics," says Laurel Y. of Bala Cynwyd. "I went up 300 points on my SAT and I got into five out of six of my top choice schools."
Our tutors must score in the top 5% nationally on the test that they are tutoring, and undergo rigorous screening including background and child abuse checks. They are selected for their knowledge, communication skills, and ability to make a connection.
Students who are unsure whether the SAT or ACT will yield a maximum score can take diagnostic tests for both exams at no extra cost. We then consult with parents and students.
